600 Flood Bucket Challenge

Are you up to the challenge?

I am issuing a “600 Flood Bucket Challenge” for the churches in the Owensboro District. District leaders have been made aware of a truck that is on standby to deliver 600 flood buckets as soon as we can get those buckets collected. My family and I prepared 10 buckets this weekend, so we only have 590 to go—can you help us reach 600 flood buckets?!
 
If 60 of our 79 churches prepared 10 buckets each, we reach our goal! Maybe some churches can do many more than 10, that would be awesome.
 
Our district collection sites are as follows:
 

1. Wesleyan Heights UMC in Owensboro (1215 Scherm Road)—drop off Monday thru Thursdays, 9 am – 3 pm and Fridays, 9 am – noon or arrange another drop off time with Pastor Ted Burke, 270-860-4675.

2. Leitchfield UMC (201 W. Main St.)—drop off Monday thru Friday, 8 am – 4 pm, **Call first, 270-259-4019 or 270-302-9001.
